This also works for the level!

Always buy the lower priced!
When you have two properties with vary similar p/h (both green or blue), you should ALWAYS buy the lowest priced one because of the time involved to generate the income to buy the second one AND the lost income accured in that time.

Prestige points dependancy for cash...
By Dazzerr (PVZ14Q)
The amount of money you can exchange your prestige points for do not depend on what level you are on! The exchange rate depends entirely on what your current income is. A typical example is that i currently get a subtotal of $1,024,501 every 50 minutes, and i get paid $4,156,650 for every 10 prestige points! I have 145 Prestige points left out of 425, so straight off right now i could get $58,193,100... But, i am not going to make the same mistake as i did on level 10, exchanging my prestige points for $5000 each just so i could afford the Car wash service! I am going to save my prestige!!

Racing to win
By Guitarhero (1ZNP2)
Do you have a losing record? Or is this game all about racing to keep your record at a 10% lose rate? Well instead of searching over and over again for players you can beat there is a MUCH easier way.
Let's say you got a average amount of crew. Let's say 538 people. Now the thing is you can only afford 200 cars and only half the parts. A good thing to do is instead of going into what you call save mode go to your crew list and remove some crew.
Before you do that though calculate how many good cars and parts you can afford and make sure you can afford all parts and when looking at cars look at the ones with more handling then speed. The R8 is a great deal with the upkeep that it's got if your a high enough level to have it.
After you figure that out lets say you can afford 50 of the a good car and all parts. You delete _____ number of crew until your at 50 crew. 50 is a bad crew to have as you'll be on race lists of people with more crew
So this way just deleted 1 more person. In the end you have 49 good cars and all parts with 49 crew. Now you got a 95% chance of winning when randomly racing at your level. Oh 1 more thing I forgot to mention is that you should leave some income so your making some money every hour. If your a low low level have it around $50K an hour. Other wise $100K. You could go more if you want. Finally you have a great set up where you can win 95% of your races and you have enough net income to build up your income to buy even more cars and parts. Always remember to keep your crew close to something 9. Could be 19,29,39,49,59,69,79,89,99 I don't care, but have it close to something 9 otherwise people with more crew will find you. Now if you got 2,500+ like me (14,500+ to be exact) then ignore this up here. You don't wanna lose all your crew. And last but not lease if you are one of those having to go into save mode make sure you have 1 expensive car in your garage so when others see you on the race list they can't see your rebuilding (save mode). I hope this helped you guys out and good luck in racing live! :-)

There is absolutely no such thing as save mode.
By cognicide (GJDVX9)
the application is called "RACING live". It is not called "making friends live" or "respect the rules live". Race everyone. And race them constantly. And steal as much money as humanly possible. Otherwise there is absolutely no point to playing this completely free game.
If you want to forge friendships: go log onto Facebook (or even try real life social interaction). This game is about killing time and racing people you don't know and taking their imaginary money. Anyone that tries to make anyone think any differently is simply using a ploy to get others to not race as much in an effort to avoid losing aforementioned imaginary money. Or... they are extremely socially inept and in need of pretend iPhone app friends. either way... there is no such thing as farming. No such thing as save mode. This is just trite blabber from people taking themselves and this game far too seriously. There is only pretend racing with pretend cars and fake money.
Unless of course you are foolish enough to pay storm8 for their BRILLIANT scam...

Use Your Points Wisely!
By Lady Jax (QMS2T)
If you are a player that either likes to accumulate the free promotional points, or purchases the package of points through the application store, this tip is for you. When you decide to exchange your group of points for money, you will notice that there will be another exchange option where it appears that you can save time and instead of cashing in 10 points at a time for maybe $100,000 each, you can turn in 100 points for $10,000,000. Seems like the same amount of money, just quicker, right? Not quite. If you want to get the most money from your points, it is much more efficient to cash in your 10 points, and go buy the best possible property/slaves/traps/etc with what you have, then come back and cash in the next 10 points, and so on. You will notice that each time you purchase property/slaves/traps/etc, the amount of money you recieve for 10 points will increase. After that first exchange for 10 points and making an investment, you might come back and see that 10 points will now buy you $100,100! It is based on some percentage of your income. So this is the best way to get the most money out of your points. Hope this helps!

Tips If You Are Being "Farmed"
By Lady Jax
If you find yourself being "farmed" or repeatedly attacked by the same person over a long period of time, here are some tips to remember:
- The best and most obvious thing to do is to get onto your account as often as possible and lower your health so that the farmers cannot attack you. Sometimes it works well if you can get friends to also attack you so that your money is going to them and not your farmer.
- To keep your money safe, you should either bank it right away or quickly invest into properties. Banking is good because it is quick and easy, but you lose 10% of every transaction. In the long run, that can almost be as much as the farmer is taking from you, so this is not always the best method to preserving your money. The other option is to invest into the properties, so you are not losing money, and in the long run you will be making more.
- The MOST INPORTANT tip when being farmed: DO NOT COMMENT THEM! If you check their comment page, farmers have players crying to them all the time about how mean and unfair they are. You are not going to stop them with one whiney comment. Also, as soon as you leave them that comment, they now have a permanent link to you and will continue their farming. One thing you need to remember is that if you do NOT comment them, the only way they can find you to attack you is on the battle list, and as soon as they level up your name will not appear on that list anymore. Therefor, you need to just tough it out and use the preventative measures above until they level up, which is usually pretty quick. Also, DO NOT send a friend request to a known farmer either. This also creates a permanent link for them to find you.
You need to remember that it is true that farmers can play however they want and there are no rules for how much and how often they can attack you. Thats why you just need to adopt this defensive method and tough it out. Most farmers thrive on players reactions, so to provide none and prevent them from taking much from you is the best way to discourage them. Getting your "teams" or "armies" to fight them usually just entertains them, much easier and safer to wait it out. I have used this method on all of the Storm8 games and farming usually only lasts about a day and then they have moved on. It works :)

How to distinguish friends from other players

Did you know that in the attack list, when someone has a blue dot behind their name, that that person is one of your friends?! So don't attack him/her!

Max Out Cars
By Eric B. (1sru4s)
When you get enough money purchase at least one car for every crew member up to the total for your level. I am currently at level 23 and lots of folks have 115 crew members but only 20 cars. With each race you can only use one car per crew member. So with 20 cars you can only use 20 crew members.

'Always buy the lower priced!' Sequel
By Mad Max (72D4H6)
When you are building up income to purchase the property with the lowest P/H ratio, keep on the look out for the next lowest P/H property. It is possible that as you build up for property #1, you can actually buy property #2 and property #3 if there is excess in the total income generated when finally purchasing property #1. Thus you can buy property #2, #3 earlier and earn this property's income while waiting to buy property #1.

Sometimes it IS Better to Buy the Higher Priced Item
By Steve (S77UQG)
Although the tip that says 'buy the lowest priced' is right when saving to buy, if you already have a store of cash, you are better off buying the higher priced, as you will straightaway earn the higher rate AND generate the lower purchase price more quickly.

Boost Your Strength but Save Your Cashflow
By Steve (S77UQG)
On Racing Live, as your crew grows you may not be able to afford to buy them all of the components and if they don't all have cars they don't help in races at all. Buy all the performance, handling and extra items that don't cost any upkeep (and get one of each for every crew member as they all count in challenges). Then buy every crew member at least one car (again that doesn't cost any upkeep). As you grow you can gradually upgrade your cars and add extra car parts once your income can afford it.

Skill Points Matter!
By Snake (GBERNE)
When you get Skill Points, you will be hit with the need to choose between Speed, Handling, Fuel, Integrity, & Focus! What do these mean? What should I buy? 1) Never buy Integrity; you start with 100, & every time you go to the mechanic he refills it. 2) Fuel; Only buy enough fuel over the length of the game to do street jobs. Look at each city, you can go all the way through Berlin 4 Xs or more with only 330 in fuel, if you buy both fuel stations your fuel refills to full in the same time someone else w/3000 Fuel. Full every 50 mins. Integrity seems like a good idea, keep my car tough, Yeah it will, so farmers can hit you repeatedly! What is skill points in Speed & Handling then? Think Experience! A Pro Racer (Jimmy Johnson), will go faster around a road track in a Toyota Supra, than you are I will in a Lambo, why? Experience/Speed (Ability to go fast), your Speed #, also gives your entire crew this experience. What about Handling ? Should I split them evenly? Not unless you want to race the Indy 500 as an experienced driver, who forgot to take the brakes off! They work against each other, you either race to win, w/ Max Speed or you get raced to win w/Max Handling! I'm at Lvl 175, w/ 74 Handling and 495 Speed, because I like to attack. I have beating people with more than double the crew I have, and they can't figure out how, b/c they also had more parts. But I had a Pro Driver (Experience ), they had an Amateur driver w/his parking parks on. You can buy all the other categories, through parts or cars, but you only get one chance to buy Experience {Speed}, Skill Points. * Note; Focus is simply, how much/long can you race before your driver tires and looses his edge! Don't go above 30, for the entire game! Add 1 every 10-15 levels. I hope this helps, and a big thanks to Knite, for teaching me this important matter while I was still a newbie. Hopes this helps all you new racers.

Reverse 'Always buy the lower priced!' Tip
By Mad Max (72D4H6)
After a period of not playing (aka sleep or no access), when you have the choice and enough money to buy either two slaves with same P/H, you should buy the higher property because the more income generated in the same timeframe, avoiding the greater time needed to generate enough income to buy the higher property, and shorter time to buy lower priced property.

Tips for those going in save mode!
By Bad AzZ (6yr222)
I'm level 51 and found it hard to buy properties and improve my car parts. So instead of selling everything and going to save mode, I dropped a whole lot of my crew members which dropped me to a different category. So currently I'm a powerhouse and when i get attacked I always win. I have 49 crew from 110. Yeah I know I probably messed some of those crewmembers, but...
In this mode I have 49 of everything but about 5 or 10 of the looted items. I'm just gonna stay here for a week or two and let the other players move me to level 52.
If I add the 50 crew member it'll put me in a different category competing with a bigger crew than I.

Saving mode
By Blaze (5NBTVC)
A great tip: if someone is in saving mode, and they request to not be raced, respect their request, as when they come out of save mode, they will likely be much stronger than you-- and that racer will have a vendetta. Cheers!

Crew vs Level
By daitan (PMTTV)
Having a ton of crew is cool and all, but just remember that the more crew you have, the more you're going to irritate people on your "race list" when you start having only crew members to race. ;) You can only use 5*(your level) so being I'm level 139, I can only use 695 crew members. Think wisely before you start having 50 people bc you just so you can reach 10,000 members before the weekend...

Farming is the life for me!
By Monster (pexr3w)
First off farming is an imaginary term used to restrict the intent of Storm8 games. Race a person as much as you like. If they whine race them more! Be aware some racers will take a dim view of your multiple races and want to put you payback. To minimize your losses and keep your enjoyment of the open road high, make sure your income is barely positive. Bank your winnings to build as u need. Nothing frustrates the igame police more than for them to realize they can't hurt you. And paybacks become a badge of honor among your farming friends who race hard to feed the spouse and kiddies.

TO RARELY LOOSE RACES !
By Envieda tm (Pqm4gp)
From the beginning on the game have 4, for a crew asap have 4 of every part so you have a part for each car. Note: make sure you have 4 cars. I bought 3 minis bc you will need to race in the"street" and one of those races you will need 3 of em' . Keep 4 until you need more, once you need more, get 5 more on your crew for a total of 9. Again make sure you have 1 part each for your crew/cars. From there add 5 more when you need it.
As far as your points..... In the beginning put em' in defense. I'm on lvl 9 right now (I've reset) and have more than 20pts. You will need to camp (means to not play n have your money accumulate) to have a lot of money to use to keep winning.
Use your points ONLY on defense and offense until lvl 10. Then, what I do is even it out (kinda, you want more a lot more offense than gas.)
Hope this helps, I'd appreciate you adding me if I helped you.

Sending Prestige Points to a user
By daitan (PMTTV)
Buying prestige points for you or a friend? Storm8 has made it even easier with "racer/level/crew code" confirmation. Simply go to http://racinglive.storm8.com/PMTTV instead of the normal URL and you'll notice that it tells you the person and their level that you're about to send Prestige Points to. Now you don't have to worry about whether or not you're sending it to the right person. :)
Note: Replace PMTTV with the crew code of the person receiving the points.

Never buy when Integrity is high!
By Slick (VVG5WP)
Never buy any stuff when your integrity is over 27! If you do and you will
be raced, you'll loose the money to the attack AND the 10% fee that the bank
takes, since you will be depositing what's left...if any!

Terminology: Farming
By RacerRyan (URJ2M4)
Farming, the action of repeatedly racing some loaded person that is weaker than you just for cash, thus living off the money they produce, farming.
Farming is bad because the farmee (person being farmed) has feelings about the game.
They will see a big list of example:
xxx raced you and won taking $150,000 and causing 30 damage.
