Always buy the lower priced!

When you have two properties with vary similar p/h (both green or blue), you should ALWAYS buy the lowest priced one because of the time involved to generate the income to buy the second one AND the lost income accured in that time.

Don't buy unnecessary equipment!

I see a lot of people with 1000 Crowbars, 1000 Machetes, etc. This while they have like around 150 mobs in their gang!
Why would you invest in unnecessary equipment???
Remember: every mob in your gang can only use 1 weapon, 1 armor and 1 vehicle.

Don't grow to fast! How higher level you are, the more difficult the game is!

In the beginning of the game, everything is still quite easy, and you probably have no problem defeating other mobsters.
Your mob is growing, you buy some equipment for your mobs, and you buy some real estate to finance the equipment.
To buy all this, you are doing some missions and some attacks for the money. Fine in the beginning, but then before you know it, you are around level 50 or above, and you can't keep up anymore! You are constantly getting attacked, and somehow it seems that other mobsters are stronger then you. How come?!?!?!

You have grown too fast. By doing missions, you grow very fast. Faster then you can buy equipment and keeping up with the other mobs. Try to invest in real estate, and don't do missions for a while. It takes some time, but soon you will have some cash flow without growing. Make sure you use the Real Estate Calculator to calculate which object is the cheapest to buy.

Money input

By Sandokan (5ppvup)

Inputting the money when adding someone to the hitlist can also be done by adding 'K' for 1000, 'M' for million, and 'B' for billion. So writing 10k means 10,000.

It's all about the money

Haven't started the game yet? When you start, you will be asked for your name and a type of player. Here, you should choose the class Tycoon, which is the one that will earn money fastest.
As you get to higher levels in the game the only aspect that is going to be of use is how fast you receive your money from Real Estate. Performing Missions and fighting in Attack will not bring you enough money to sustain yourself and will really just be novelties used when you have to level up to get more properties and weapons available.

How to avoid the "families"

By Nick

There's a lot of these piramid shaped "family" groups forming on these games lately. They identify each other with those emoticons. If you piss one of their members off they'll have their whole "family" continuously add you to the Hit List and want you to beg for forgiveness. They're easy to provoke because of their security blankets.

It's very easy to avoid them. DON'T COMMENT BACK ON ANY OF THEIR PROFILES! Don't ask why, don't respond with a witty remark, don't say anything! They'll really try to provoke some kind of response from you but once you comment back on their profile it adds a link to your profile that they can send to all of their friends saying "Everyone go to my comments and Hit List "DonJoe" for me."

It's hard to hold on to a person's profile if there's no link in their comments.

Since they add so many members to their profile, most of them don't have the money to support the large mobs they've created. They're easy easy targets because of it and they get upset when they're attacked.

Need more income? Invest and defend today.. Attack and level up later...

By Twinkle (UPRM3)

Some people are in such a hurry to level up and what they don't realize is that their income is not growing as fast as they are moving up. The best levels for saving are levels 1-30. I saved most of my income at level 14 and 20. Invest your skill points wisely; put more on defense while saving and you can invest more on offense later on once you have an excellent income. In the early stages, invest more on defense (best defensive equipment you can afford) and buying real estate (use real estate calculator). Avoid attacking excessively or doing too many missions, be patient. Make sure you can afford to arm your entire mob (x5 your level) before leveling up. I suggest to have at least 75% net income (income after upkeep) before moving on to the next level. If you have established a really strong defense then you wouldn't have to bank your money and ROI (return of investment) will be much bigger. By being patient you will be able to afford the very best equipment and come out much stronger in the end. Now your next question is: How do I level up? The best way is to attack through the hitlist, make sure that you attack to win (don't attack a person that has a higher level or stronger than you). When you attack through the hitlist, experience points ranges from 4-5 compared to attacking through your rival mob list which often gives you 2-3 experience only. Combine attacking with doing missions, you will be able to move up at least 1 level daily. Disclaimer: My tip may not be for everybody, camping and not attacking can be very boring. You must be patient to actually make it work.

Don't always bank your money

By Clemenza (SHF588)

Its not always a good idea to bank your cash to keep it "safe" from attackers. You must compare the 10% cost with how much you calculate to lose from being attacked. For example, as a level 18 Tycoon you would lose about 35 to 45k for each attack. Given that I have only 100 health which you should as well, I really haven't been attacked for more than 1 time per hour and sometimes much less. This means if I'm making more than 350 to 450k per 50 minutes, I'm actually losing less money by getting attacked than by banking it. Getting to that level of cash flow is quite fast too. If you need numbers as proof-
Banking every 50 minutes with 400k cash flow for 1 day= 28.8 x 40k = 1152k lost per day.
Getting attacked once per hour for 24 hours = 24 x 40k = 960k lost per day.
The point at which banking becomes worse than being attacked is different for each Storm 8 game. For mobster, it is probably sooner than later as you only lose around 40k per attack at lvl 18 and can get a much higher cash flow pretty easily. For Racing and maybe some of the other games it may take longer as the returns on buildings in those games aren't as good as mobster for some reason, while the money lost per attack remains pretty high. I have a fair amount of buildings in Racing at level 9, but earn only 51k per 50 minutes while losing almost 8k per attack. However this is offset by the lower popularity of those other games, such that I find myself being attacked only 10 times in the last 4 days!

Maximize your wins by always having the highest mob in your "bracket"

By lay.z.boy (FM6697)

ALWAYS make sure the total number of mob members you have ends in a 4 or a 9 (eg. 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 etc etc).

The reason for this (as far as I've been able to tell so far) is that you can attack people ONLY in your mob "bracket". The brackets range some 0-4, 5-9, 10-14, 15-19 etc etc. Say for example you have 9 mob members, if you view the attack screen you can attack mobs with 4-9 members. If you decide to add 1 mob member and then go to the attack screen, you will see that you can attack mobs from 10-14.

HOW is knowing this information helpful? You must always add mob members in groups of 5! Get your code out there and build up REQUESTS for YOU (They can sit, they won't go anywhere). When you are ready to add more member, add 5 of them so that you move from 4 (Highest of your attack bracket) to 9 (Highest of the NEW attack bracket).

ONE THING TO LOOK OUT FOR is that you will have to buy equipment in groups of 5 as well, so ALWAYS make sure you can afford the leap for 5 mob members.

I discovered this strategy half way through playing iMobsters so my ratio is roughly 6-1. But with this strategy I've been able to keep a kill/death ratio of about 10-1 in Vampires Live.

Use Your Points Wisely!

By Lady Jax (14UUP)

If you are a player that either likes to accumulate the free promotional points, or purchases the package of points through the application store, this tip is for you. When you decide to exchange your group of points for money, you will notice that there will be another exchange option where it appears that you can save time and instead of cashing in 10 points at a time for maybe $100,000 each, you can turn in 100 points for $10,000,000. Seems like the same amount of money, just quicker, right? Not quite. If you want to get the most money from your points, it is much more efficient to cash in your 10 points, and go buy the best possible property/slaves/traps/etc with what you have, then come back and cash in the next 10 points, and so on. You will notice that each time you purchase property/slaves/traps/etc, the amount of money you recieve for 10 points will increase. After that first exchange for 10 points and making an investment, you might come back and see that 10 points will now buy you $100,100! It is based on some percentage of your income. So this is the best way to get the most money out of your points. Hope this helps!

Kill All Farmers

By RandyAlThor (mx6cq8)

I don't believe in rolling over and playing dead for farmers. I do the opposite of playing dead. I go after them aggressively. I usually float around 49 mobs(I'm between level 70-100), but I have pretty high income(over $200Mil/50 mins). So I immediately mob up to around 80 or so, they can't usually follow, then I farm them aggressively, at least every 2 hours. I take their money and put them on the HL. I max HL them every day. Usually within 3 days they'll start whining. You'll be putting a serious crimp in their style, it's awesome.

The key is to get your income up, and don't run at your maximum mob size. There's a lot of easy money floating around 50 mobs. Most people can't afford the best gear, so you can hit them all day and it's easy as pie. And using the codes here in an afternoon you can mob up 20-30-40 mobs in not time at all, and then they are stuck and can't do anything back to you.

So, my advice/tip to you is don't roll over. Instead act like a man, and beat them at their own game. Farm the farmers.

Advanced Gamers - Maximize the returns on your idle cash

By Don Salami (65J3C7)

NOTE: These tips are complicated and for advanced gamers only. There are 2 things you must watch out for, when handling idle cash. First, when you've earned a lot of money since you last bought properties, you could find yourself with say $240 million cash and the option to buy from say 3 properties (Shopping Mall: 44 million, Luxury Hotel: 88million, Casino: $220 million). How do you maximize the gains on your $240 million? Because you already have the cash, you should buy the most expensive property with the maximum returns that your cash can afford first, before buying others. In this example, buy the Casino first, leaving you with only $20 million in idle cash that's not earning any money. Note that you should only do this if you've already accumulated the cash (say overnight), otherwise, buy the first (highest return) property that you can afford from your next income cycle. In this example, if we assume you earn $32 million per cycle, on your next cycle, you will have $52 million, which will then be enough to buy a Shopping Mall. If instead you bought the Shopping Mall and Luxury Hotel first, both combined will give you an extra income of only $150,000, while you may have to wait 4-5 cycles before you can afford to buy the casino, thus you will lose $500,000 in potential income.

The second tip has to do with making your extra idle funds from your last purchase work for you. Let's assume you've just bought a Shopping Mall, and your next purchase will be a Luxury Hotel. However, it will take you 5 cycles to save up for the Luxury Hotel and after purchasing the Luxury Hotel in 5 cycles, you will have an extra $1 million left for your next purchase. If you've done your calculations and you know you will have $1 million extra after saving up for the Luxury hotel, determine what the next property you have to buy after the Luxury Hotel is. Let's assume it's a Convenience Store that will cost you $711,000. Instead of waiting until you have purchased the Luxury Hotel first before buying the Convenience Store, buy the Store NOW. The reason is because whether or not you buy the Convenience Store, you still have to wait 5 turns before you can afford that Luxury Hotel and buying the Convenience Store will not make you wait any longer. Over the next 5 turns, you will earn extra income from the Store that you'd otherwise have lost. Remember that you must only do this if that next property will not make you wait an extra turn. For that reason, do the calculation first. This is particularly useful when your next purchase is an expensive item like a Casino, Skyscraper and Luxury Hotel that will force you to wait several turns before you can afford it.

Hold off on using your favor points in the beginning.

By DOCS (44GNJA)

You will be tempted to use them to bring up your energy so you can do more missions, but just be patient, you will later find that was just a waste of favor points. Also, in the beginning, the Godfather will offer $10,000 for 10 favor points. Once you have reached a substantial amount of hourly income, his offer will go up. Currently, I have 8.5 mil per hour, and the Godfather will offer me almost 34 mil for the same 10 favor points! However, I find holding on to your favor points is most beneficial if you decide to join a Mob group, you can change your name for 30 favor points to add their symbol if they have one. The only other way to change your name is to reset, and you wouldn't want to do that if you are higher up. Once you are 100% happy with your name, use it for the $.

Selling items when you are away

By Geministorm (EAF9JR)

Buy bombs/attack items to use them, and after you're finished, sell them all back to make more money over time.

If you play only once a day, then it is easy to figure out if the best attack item is cheaper to sell or to hold onto. Since the best attack items aren't always the best defense items (which you keep to defend yourself while away), you don't need them when you're away from the game, only when you're attacking others.

Simply multiply the upkeep cost of the item by 24 (hours). If the upkeep cost for 24 hours is greater than 1/2 the cost of the item, then you should sell it every time you've finished playing before logging.

As an example; in iMobsters, a Time Bomb costs 130k per bomb and upkeep is 7800/hr. Using my method above, 7800 x 24 hours = 187,200 which is greater than 65,000 (1/2 of 130,000) so it should be much better to sell all of the Time Bombs instead of holding on to them...

Scenario #1: Buy 100 Time Bombs, use them, then hold onto them until tomorrow and use them again.
100 x 130k + 100 x 7800 x 24 = 13M + 18.72M = 31.72M

Scenario #2: Buy 100 Time bombs, use them and then sell them. Tomorrow, buy 100 Time Bombs, use them and sell them again.
100 x 130k - 100 x 130k/2 + 100 x 130k - 100 x 130k/2 = 13M - 6.5M + 13M - 6.5M = 13M

Extrapolated over time, the difference between scenarios grows by 13M + (n x 18.72M) - (n x 6.5M) = 13 + n x 12.2M per day. In 7 days, you'd spend 144M vs. 45.5M.

So, to re-iterate, sell off all of your attack dominate items if their (upkeep x hours) > 1/2 x cost.

Tips If You Are Being "Farmed"

By Lady Jax

If you find yourself being "farmed" or repeatedly attacked by the same person over a long period of time, here are some tips to remember:

- The best and most obvious thing to do is to get onto your account as often as possible and lower your health so that the farmers cannot attack you. Sometimes it works well if you can get friends to also attack you so that your money is going to them and not your farmer.

- To keep your money safe, you should either bank it right away or quickly invest into properties. Banking is good because it is quick and easy, but you lose 10% of every transaction. In the long run, that can almost be as much as the farmer is taking from you, so this is not always the best method to preserving your money. The other option is to invest into the properties, so you are not losing money, and in the long run you will be making more.

- The MOST INPORTANT tip when being farmed: DO NOT COMMENT THEM! If you check their comment page, farmers have players crying to them all the time about how mean and unfair they are. You are not going to stop them with one whiney comment. Also, as soon as you leave them that comment, they now have a permanent link to you and will continue their farming. One thing you need to remember is that if you do NOT comment them, the only way they can find you to attack you is on the battle list, and as soon as they level up your name will not appear on that list anymore. Therefor, you need to just tough it out and use the preventative measures above until they level up, which is usually pretty quick. Also, DO NOT send a friend request to a known farmer either. This also creates a permanent link for them to find you.

You need to remember that it is true that farmers can play however they want and there are no rules for how much and how often they can attack you. Thats why you just need to adopt this defensive method and tough it out. Most farmers thrive on players reactions, so to provide none and prevent them from taking much from you is the best way to discourage them. Getting your "teams" or "armies" to fight them usually just entertains them, much easier and safer to wait it out. I have used this method on all of the Storm8 games and farming usually only lasts about a day and then they have moved on. It works :)

Buy Equipment steadily.

Your equipment should be purchased steadily, but your early money should go at a higher rate toward Real Estate. Try to get enough equipment to perform Missions and win fights but not enough to take your reserves as these should be invested toward cyclical payout. This will set you up later on when the amount of money received from Missions is trivial.

How to deal with random hitlisters

By Cezzare (KPF7K8)

Have you ever experienced someone put you on hit list for no reason at all?
Your immediate reaction would probably be either or both of the following:
1) Leave a comment asking for a reason (This is something you don't want to do)
2) Hit them back, either attacking or hit listing

Before you do anything, I would recommend you to step back and assess the situation.
Do not overreact by committing 1, 2 or both! It may just be a simple trick to gain a hard link from you.

Try to understand why you just got hit listed. If you don't have any recollection as to
why you got thrown in the hit list board, try to assess the situation as follows:
1) Is the hitlister low level?
2) Does the hitlister have weak defense/attack setup?
3) Does the hitlister have low income?
4) Do you recognize anyone in the hitlister's comments page?
If all 4 of the above apply to your random hitlister, it is possible that you just got hit
by a second account who wants to get a hard link from you.

When a random hitlister attacks you, I recommend you follow these steps.
1) Bank all your cash just to play safe from a second attack.
2) Try not to respond and do nothing. If the random hitlister does not put you in the
hitlist board again, that means the player does not have a hard link from you. I know
it's difficult not to react, especially when you lost a large amount of money, but it does
not help to ease your situation. If the hitlister is almost the same level as you,
it is possible that your link came from the attack page where you are visible to players
close or same level as you. If that's the case, then it's up to you if you want to retaliate
and hit back with everything you've got to get even.
2) Clear your comments page. It's possible that the random hitlister will surf on your comments
page for the next victim. Do not even retain your code as the hitlister may change names
and send you an invitation to mob up. If you accept the invitation, the random hitlister will
now have a hard link from you and can run circles around you!
3) Send a broadcast to your allies to remove any comments you may have in their comments page.

Always remember that a random hitlister always has an agenda, to get a hard link from you.
Do not leave any comment as this will allow others to launch massive attacks on you!
Sometimes, the best thing to do is to do nothing!

How to get rich in the game

By Lefty (JFXVU4)

My tip is to first generate as much money as possible in order for you to buy real estate. This should in the beginning be done by completing missions, as this will (relatively) generate the most money. However, as you progress (level 9 and higher) it becomes more interesting to battle other persons for money. This will generate more money and you will gain less experience points.

When you get to level 12-13 (and have some real estate), make sure to sell all your equipment (weapons, armor and cars). This may sound weird, but it has a reason. By dropping equipment you become more vulnerable for attacks, as you should be. The more you get attacked (and lose) the faster your health will fall below 27 hp. This results in you not being able to be attacked. However, when in the 'hospital', you will still be able to generate money through real estate. People will then not be able to attack you, resulting in you not losing a load of money from attacks. You will see you will be able to bank all your cash without (hardly) losing any from attacks. This system will of course be most efficient if you 'log in' to your account every (few) hour(s).

Dropping equipment has another major advantage. You will not gain any unwanted experience points (as you would if other players would attack you and you win). You will remain your desired level as long as you want, making it easy to make loads of money as other people will only get a low amount of money when defeating you in battle. In addition, not having any equipment will result in you not incurring any 'costs for upkeep'.

Anyway, do just the above and you will become stinkin' rich. Any questions? Add me and ask me directly.

Hunting

By silent (E6uk26)

Everyone ask's me how I have 1400 kills at only level 36, the answer is simple. First off you should know that it doesn't take high attack to make a kill, in fact it's better to have a high defense and here's why. Most people on the hitlist are posted multiple times therefore the chance of them haveing 1 health is pretty good, when you attack them you will deal 1 damage and get the kill even if you lose. This is where defense comes in, because of your multiple loses and kills you just need to "ride" the hitlist, and generate wins. For riding you will need good defense equiptment, most people who will attack you will lose. Another thing about hunting is that you can get kills with even little to no equiptment meaning no upkeep! If your income is good and you can afford good equiptment then you don't need to "ride"!

Adding to Your Mob

By Jeremy (PTPTPG)

When expanding your mob, keep the following in mind:

1. When selecting a gamer to invite, try picking those at the bottom or middle of your bracket. Wise players increase their mob size 5 members at a time, and an invitation to someone with a mob size of 9, 14, 19, or 24 mob members is more likely to be ignored. Try cutting and pasting "you need one more: (code)" to gamers with a mob size of 8, 13, 18, or 23.

2. Entering another's code increases the likelihood of their accepting your invitation, but on their timetable. In a few weeks (or months!), the size of your mob might jump from 64 to 65, putting you at the bottom of your bracket. Posting your code on others' walls might take longer, but it lets you manage your mob size more strategically.

3. With that in mind, effectively posting on another's wall can be tricky. Beginner beware: there is NO REASON to post "add me" or "whats your code", since that just adds more steps to the process, and since its more advantageous to have others request you, this is even more annoying. More truculent gamers may even hit list you for wasting their time.

4. Try to set yourself apart from the rest. Remember: to invite someone to your mob, you must either quickly memorize the code or write it down. This can become tedious, and higher players have more invites than they know what to do with. To increase the likelihood of being noticed, ADD SOMETHING to your code, like the one I received today: "Greetings from Charleston, SC! If you add _____, I will send you a joke!" Some players always asks where you're from, and their walls are littered with quick, cheery responses. And though it might be too late now, having an interesting (and unoffensive!) name likewise increases your chances of standing out.

Retaliation Strategy

By Don Corleoni (JWUFMT)

You've just been attacked 4 times in a row and the attacker just cleaned you outof 40 million dollars....RETALIATE!! Not so fast...think before you click!

Here are my strategic rules for retaliation:

1) If you lost, do NOT immediately retaliate. First, view their profile and check their cash flow. If they clearly make more money than you, let have their spoils, don't give them a soft (expiring) link for the next few days to steal even more money. You already know you lost...don't make it worse. However, if you clearly make more money than them and you are so inclined to retaliate, buy up tons of defense and offense and start attacking. They will be excited from their previous haul, and attack back with your new convenient link. Only problem for them is, you make way more money and can outspend them in equipment. Now you have a fresh soft link, and can attack them for the next few days. If you find their link falling down your page and in jeopardy of disappearing...sell some stuff or see rule #3 and let them have a temporary win. They'll be reinvigorated to attack you, but you'll be able to ramp up and win a bunch more. It's always fun to taunt! The key to this strategy is you MUST make more money than them! If you don't, they can ramp up and keep attacking you until your link expires.

2) If you won the attack. RETALIATE! Wait just a second. Remember, just because you won now, doesn't mean you'll continue to win. Cash is king, if they make more money than you, then they can out buy equipment and attack you back, over and over until your link expires. So be smart, check their buildings and compare to your own. If you can outspend them....hit that retaliate button until you bleed. :)

3) NEVER Hit list after a loss. Even if you lost 10 times in a row and you're really pissed off. Why not? Well, if it really makes you feel better...then be my guest. I will guarantee with any skilled player, you just made their day. They just won a ton of cash, and you just handed them your link for a LONG TIME with a Hit List link on their page. Everytime you hit list, it tells them who did it. While this link is a soft link (it expires), it lasts a lot
longer than a simple attack link. The only time hit listing can help you, is if you are beating them and you want their link longer. Then you can hit list them, and you'll get their link for longer. This is expecially effective if they aren't attacking back, but you know you have more cash and more equipment, so you have no danger of them using your hit list link on their page back against you. If you're lucky, they will hit list you back, and you'll have their link for a week or so!

If you use this strategy, you'll increase your win/loss ratio and maximize cash to you and minimize cash to them.

Reverse 'Always buy the lower priced!' Tip

By Scarface (8P9SK9)

After a period of not playing (aka sleep or no access), when you have the choice and enough money to buy either two slaves with same P/H, you should buy the higher property because the more income generated in the same timeframe, avoiding the greater time needed to generate enough income to buy the higher property, and shorter time to buy lower priced property.

CAMPING W/O SUPPLIES

By Ditch Digger (DA7C2F)

When you camp, sell off ALL* of your gear with upkeep, you will earn money much much faster. The upkeep far out weighs the amount you can lose by being attacked.

I am currently at level 101 and lose about $15 M when I lose a fight. I were to use the best defensive items, my upkeep would be $530 M / 50 Min. Even if I am attacked 4 times per 50 Min cycle, I am still ahead about $470 M.

For arguments sake, let’s say I get hit 10 times a day, that’s only $150 M per day. My upkeep would be roughly $15.25 B, (yes Billion) per day; therefore I can re-invest about $15 B extra every day which means I can increase my income by about $4 M extra every day.

Just remember to put your ego away when camping, never comment to a farmer, cruise the hit list to keep your health below 27, and most importantly who cares is you lose a few fights, you will be able to gear up and find all those weak farmers when you decide you’ve camped long enough.

* You might consider keeping a variety of looted items if you need them for missions.

Worldwar Tips

By Trinads

Ok, here are a few quick tips to help you be the strongest that u can be without losing battles. This applies to lower level accounts, level 7-40.

1st: This is a slow progressing game, if u want to be strong, u have to camp. There's no way around it. Camping is not leveling up (don't do missions or attack people) just build income and defense. Now, doesn't take a genius to calculate max defense.
U should 1st drop your allies, u can only battle people with the same number of allies as u in groups of 5. So if u have 19 allies, than u can only battle people with 15-19 allies, next group is 20-24, and so on. U want to be able to take the most units available for your group. So u don't want 22 allies, but u want 24 because u can take 12 more units into battle. U ONLY use your strongest defensive units when attacked. By lowering your allies, you lower your max defense. This only works if you don't link/write/comment people. Don't link anybody ever!! Just write on your own wall!! Trust me, your enemies read it!!

Now, the goal is to be at max allies for your level, BUT ONLY ONCE U HAVE THE DEFENSE FOR IT!! Remember the strongest attack unit is ALWAYS. Stronger than your strongest defensive unit. Let's take a level 10 as an example: level 10 strongest attack unit is harrier jet at 24 attack, & strongest def unit is naval tanker at 20 def. There's a difference of 4, and if u only have 19 allies, then that's 114 units u use in battle (19x6=114) now 114 times the difference in attack/defense, is 4, so 114 units times the difference (114x4=456) So u would only need 456 defensive building points to be at max defense. That's really easy to achieve and u can't b farmed or lose a battle if attacked with max defense. Now, u want to be at max defense for ten levels above u, so if ur level 10, u should b at max def for a level 20, cuz higher levels can attack u. As u add defense, u add allies till ur at max allies and max defense. U can not lose a battle if u do this!! But this requires time and camping. The higher your level the more defense u will need.

Now, u can take unlimited defense buildings into battle with u when ur attacked. So u should only be buying defense buildings and income. My goal is to have such a strong defense that u can get away with only using naval tankers (0 upkeep) and defense buildings. Having a strong enough defense in buildings allows u to not have upkeep with defense and u can concentrate on building ur income or getting max attack. I recommend not attacking anyone til ur at the level where u can get the UAVs, xuz they have 0 upkeep. So, if ur defense is so strong u only have naval tankers and a whole lot of def buildings, and ur at max attack with UAVs then u would have 0 upkeep!! And u could use all that saved money for more defense and income

As far as income goes, for the lower levels, u should be at double to triple your current level. SP if ur lvl 10, u should b making 20-30 mil income before leveling up. It takes time but it's worth it. This is what it takes to be really strong!! I have a level 13 making 35 mil income, I've been at level 13 for 6 months now!! It takes a lot of camping but there's still A LOT of people that are way stronger than me!! So, the longer u camp the stronger u will be. I know it's boring but u have to develop a good strong foundation if u want to stand a chance in this game.

I am always open to help anyone that needs it. U can reach me in the free app PALRINGO in the Fresh Herons room. I'll talk to anybody there. This game is a lot more fun if your strong, u can farm people and not lose when they attack back. Also, the stronger your defense, the better cuz if u get sanctioned, any level person can attack u, therefore if ur defense is really strong u will win most your battles on sanctions, and getting sanctioned becomes a blessing cuz it's just helping your win/loss record. U can really bully people because they can't do anything to you, they can't attack u and win, and so they sanction you which gives you more wins!! It really frustrates people and this only works if you have a really strong defense. My opinion is that defense is way more important than a high income. Your defense says how strong you are, not your income!! I'm not saying income isn't important, just not as important to defense. Good luck!!

Tips on maximizing your favor points

By Cezarre (KPF7K8)

At some point in time, you will decide to use your favor points in exchange for money.
We do know that the value of favor points depend on how much income you get. This means that the more income you receive, the more you get from
your favor points.
When you are ready to upgrade your equipments to something higher, here's a great way to maximize your honor points.

1) Use up all your health by attacking an opponent, or ask your mob to hitlist you to lower your health to "1".
2) Once your health is down to 1, nobody will attack you so you can now sell your obsolete equipments at one time.
3) Watch the value of your favor points go up after you sold your obsolete equipments.
4) You can now exchange your honor points for cash.
5) Purchase the necessary equipments.

Warning: Make sure you're not in the middle of hitlisting war with anyone as you can lose your money when someone puts you on hitlist!

Make Your Profile Look Intimidating When Camping

By Big Daddy (q6rghf)

If you decide to take some time out to build your income for a bit, you will probably scale yourself down to maximise your income. This is all fine and when people on the attack list battle you they will lose, but you may find yourself being randomly attacked by people who are on a lower level than you, but have a bigger mob and have found your profile from a comment you may have left.

This is because if they do ever stumble across your profile you 'look' like your camping. Even though you have the best equipment in your class you only have a small number of it and if someone who's on a lower level but who had more mob members sees it, they're going to know they can beat you because they've got bigger numbers.

My tip is buy a 3 or 4 hundred of the best equipment that doesn't have any upkeep as a deterrent. It's not too expensive to buy and it means if anyone stumbles across your profile, they're going to think twice before attacking you because it will look like you have a huge mob. Leaving you to camp in peace.

It's always a good idea to get your code out there and have a lot of mob members waiting in your recruits section though so you can instantly mob-up if you ever need to.

How To Get Wins Fast (ADVANCED MOBBIES ONLY)

By Lil Convict (YC5UW6)

First of all you want to have the best defensive items that can be afforded. Second you want to have 100 mil out of the bank at least. Third of all get a friend to hit list you for minimum bounty (this is to maximize wins). And while you are on the Hit List continue to press hospital button an replenish your health. This will get you anywhere from 100-1000-10,000 wins depending on how long you continue to replenish health. Yes this works but is only recommended for mobbies LVL 40-200 for best results.

Always Buy the Highest Priced Items First

By Stevie (n924rh)

When withdrawing a large amount to buy multiple items, try to reduce your health below the attack threshold first, so as to reduce the risk of losing some of the money. Also, even if you can reduce your health, always buy the most expensive items first to reduce your cash in hand as quickly as possible. Then if you are attacked, or hit-listed/sanctioned/etc, you stand to lose less.

Loot

By Vicious (25QSGN)

A lot of mobsters are sitting on money they don't even realize they have. Loot such as Prison Maps, Enemy Plans, and Bank Schematics do not have any value in terms of attack/defense. It's best to keep one of each and sell the rest. I see a lot of mobsters that hoard this kind of loot. It's better to sell it and bank the money. The Prison Break, Steal Weapons from Enemy Warehouse, and Hi-Jack a Bank Truck are the best missions in terms of gaining loot that will add to your attack/defense. My favorite item of loot is the riot shield, because it has no upkeep.

SupaTip #1. "Buying Units with No Upkeep"

By SupaTrupa (2XP39P)

Tips: Everyone mentions all the time not to get more units than what you really need, ... and I agree, but here is a tip. All that depends on your style of game. If you are an aggressive fighter (always attacking or responding to attacks) chances are that you are going to visit the HitList very often. Now, if you have the exact amount of weapon and allies that your level requires, while in the HL you may get more looses than wins. Why? Because you are using that exact amount I prior mentioned, and the person hitting you is way higher than you, thus they are using more weapons and allies. For this style of game, you may want to have extra weapons and extra allies with you, even if it means higher upkeep. But your chances of winning will double while in the HitList, you just invest in more income buildings to balance the equation. I change my style of game all the time, and when I use this tactic... hardly loose. I have screen pictures in my iPhone from players 20, 40, and 60 levels higher than me and still losing battles against me while in the HL. My favorite is the iMobster player level 194 that attacked me while on the HitList and lost, keep in mind that my level at that time was Level 22. Have the screen pictures to prove it. My Mob size at that time was 230 members. I wonder if they will allow me to post pictures/screenshots in here

Have Fun and remember..... its just a game!

SupaTip #2. "Getting Money from High Level ATM's"

By SupaTrupa (2XP39P)

Another quick tip is about getting money from ATM's. They will help you throughout the game, but if you really want big money, here is the deal. High level ATM's will have from 500 up to 2000 members with them, so many of them protect themselves from low level players just by keeping high amount of weapons with a very low defense capabilities. Example, an ATM on level 150 or 200 may keep with them all the time 500 Medics, which will provide 6 defenses with no upkeep. If your alliance has 500 members and you keep with you all the time weapons with attacking power higher than 6, then you got yourself free meals of around 17 to 25 million per hit with a low level account. I have a level 8 account with 1100 Harrier Jets (24 attack power, no upkeep) that gets those many millions per hit. Just make sure you Thank the ATM and provide support and protection to them.... yep you heard right... if you play it smart, a low account can be more damaging than a high level account. Why? There is nothing to lose and the same ATM will build it back up right away if needed with money and members. I have 2 low levels that I use for Hitlisting and protection for me, and my alliance; you max list with your high level account/s and erase your tracks with the low level ones.

Have Fun and remember..... it's just a game!

Lowest health possible before going away for a long time.

By Scrivanich (DPQGHX)

When I go to bed or am not going to be on imobsters for a long period of time I always try to have a friend hitlist me once before leaving. Or attack until having least amount of health possible.

Here is why:
I don't want to be attacked when I am vulnerable while collecting income. If I start off with a night with a low amount of health it means I will be attacked the least amount possible. If I don't have anyone on that can hitlist me I can just attack a high level person I know I will loose to that will make my health the lowest possible.

In a nutshell the least health you have going into the night the least you will be attacked, which means more money for you to keep! Hope it helps!

Don't Attack

By Miss Vampy

I find it easier to just attack people on the Hitlist instead. I used to stick to the unwritten rule and attack people 3 times or under but then someone is more likely to retaliate back and don't know of the unwritten rule. I got attacked so many times that I stopped attacking. Then I got to thinking why don't I just attack those on the hitlist instead. I'm not the one who put them there and if I did not kill them someone else would instead. I tried it as a trial and found out those who were new to the game and had low levels would retaliate so I stayed away from them and attacked those were on a decent level that they would know how the game works and would instead take revenge on the one who put them on the HL instead. And it works a treat. I even put a comment on my wall for those who did come looking to why I killed them stating why I do it and I have not had that much trouble. Just stay away from the players that have low levels of under 25 incase they take offence.

Investing your skill points, missions and loots...

By DINO

If you want to invest in energy you should consider certain things... First of all investing all your skill points on energy is not rational you should stop at some point and share your skill points on attack, defense and stamina, you should invest least in health. When it comes to stamina it should be balanced with health to avoid a waste, something around 10 for stamina and 150 for health in levels 150 and up is efficient, in lower levels keeping health at 100 and stamina in 5-6 is enough. Energy is bound to missions and when you finish all missions there is only one mission left to be done again and again: "support a political group" because you have the chance to loot godfather pinky ring which can be used as an additional equipment by your mob members and more effective than att/def skills (1 weapon+1 protection+1 vehicle+1 GP Ring for each mob member and att/def skills only affect you where as GP Ring affects all mob). This mission is done with 75 energy and requires an equipment that costs about 2,250 B $ plus they have upkeep nearly 70 M $ so it is better to buy the equipment do 5-6 support political group missions at one time and sell the equipment back. 75x6=450, investing in energy more than 450 will also be a waste!.. So it is efficient to keep energy at 375 or 450, stamina at 10-15, health at around 150 and put the rest on attack and defense. P.S: It's better to start as operative and change in high levels to tycoon is a wise choice for mission and fast leveling up lovers of course this tip won't be suitable for campers.

Farmers Beware

By Executer (2447T8)

First off I would like to thank you, even though you guys are very annoying. I personally do not understand farming simply because eventually you will level up too fast and can not support yourself in higher levels. You do make the game interesting though. Everyone think for a second, if there were no enemies, how fun would the game be. So thank you for that. For the non farmers out there I say this to you. Build enough income early in the game to always be able to have the best available attack weapons and the best available defense weapons at the same time. Then level up slowly. Always make sure you have enough income. Always keep all of the best defense weapons at all times. Always keep enough money in the bank to arm up with the best attack weapons. This way if a farmer does penetrate your defenses, you can retaliate. Also, investing your skill points must be decided at the very beginning. Either all attack, or all defense. There is no need for a 50/50 mix because later in the game, you will be beaten. The least ratio to use is 75/25 in attack or defense. Either or has its advantages or disadvantages. So Farmers I tell you this, This is my strategy, farm me or my family and we will hunt you down and make you reset! Good Day mobbies.

'Always buy the lower priced!' Sequel

By Scarface (8P9SK9)

When you are building up income to purchase the property with the lowest P/H ratio, keep on the look out for the next lowest P/H property. It is possible that as you build up for property #1, you can actually buy property #2 and property #3 if there is excess in the total income generated when finally purchasing property #1. Thus you can buy property #2, #3 earlier and earn this property's income while waiting to buy property #1.

Everything a Imobster could wish for!!

By Add me: (F7VW82)

At level 26 camp on that level and get some income... At least 75 million $. It's a lot to go for but at least in the higher levels you will be able to afford the good stuff.
Anyways, get some sufficient defense and level up to level 35 (or 36) and get an income rate of 150 million $. At level 50 camp again and get an income of 250 million $.
At the same time, during all of this, get some mobbies. 1000 by level 60. After this, at level 85, get an income of 300 million $. At level 100 get a total of 350 million $.
Now, at level 150, get an income of 500 million $.
Now you have an income of 500 million $, you can get pretty much anything!! This works best when you are a $$$$$.

Now, every 10 levels, get another 50 million $, if you have the patience. Or you could just get 10-20 million, but 50 million $ is much better.
Now, when you are on level 300 at last, you will dominate everyone in the game!!

SKILL POINTS.

Use up your your points on attack, defense and energy. For each level you get 3 skill points. Use up 1 on attck, 1 on def, and 1 on energy. (until level 25 only use them on energy, then use the method above ^.) try not to use favour points at all, unless you have to. Although, at the start, use 30 of them up on changing your name to whatever your code is. This way others will see the code and immediately add it!!
Not everyone who sees your code will add it though. So, to make up for it, get others to broadcast your code often. People may want you to broadcast them in return.

UNITS.

At the start, don't get as many good units as you can, because you immediately fall behind in income. Only use the weak units a the start, getting stronger as you get a higher income. Also, don't get ridiculous amounts of the units with no upkeep, or with one, because it wastes your money and time!! It does not make you look good. People do this thinking it looks cool but by doing this you are wasting precious money... And you don't use those units any way. Even if you did, you need like 20 thousand of each. You can only use 5 x your level (e.g. Level 7 = 35 units available). Although you still need that amount of players in your mob. But anyone can buy 20 thousand units - so it's pointless. Try not to get mixed up in people who gain pleasure from continually hitlisting you...

FARMING.

There are groups of players that only play this game to farm (attack more than 3 times) or hitlist some people for weeks and weeks. These people are called farmers. If someone is farming you, don't comment to them. If you battled them or hit listed them, your link will disapear after 24 hours. If you comment to them, then it gives them a permanent link to you, and to farming you. So never comment someone like that. They will provoke you, call you names, but dont give in!! Otherwise you will always be farmed.. Then they will get their friends to help them.

Farmers are just pathetic, sad losers who can't find anything other than farming people on online iPod/iPhone apps to keep them happy. Never become a farmer people, trust me, EVERYONE hates them, they are pathetic.

Don't let your mob grow to the max!

By Haiko (PE3ECA)

For example, you're level 50. You can have a mob of 250 members fighting for you. Which means you have a giant upkeep in case of choosing the best equipment.

However, when you have just a mob of 100 members, you may seem weaker, but the attack list shows people of the same level and about the same size. So you will hardly be attacked by much stronger people!

Saves you every time half the upkeep...

Where to invest your skill points in

By JustCalcIt.com (24MZ1)

First of all, this is a completely personal decision.

I think stamina is a good option. You will be able to attack more (and thus earn more experience points (xp) and wins). However, to win a fight, you have to have a profit over your opponent. In my opinion, this is done by investing in attack.

On the other hand, if somebody attacks you, you don't want to loose. So, defense is also a good investment.

Again, in MY opinion, energy is a "bad" investment, because the only thing you can get from it is xp and money. But, if you play right, money should not be a issue.

Why invest in energy, while when investing in stamina also gives you more xp and a better "win" stats?!?! Ok, with energy you probably will rank faster, but waiting is not a crime, only gives you more money .. ;-)

Then there is health.. Well, again, in MY opinion, this is a very bad investment. Refilling your health in the hospital is cheap and when somebody attacks you multiple times you want to dip as fast as possible under 26 so that they can not attack you anymore.

Conclusion: attack and defense are good thinks to invest in. If you don't attack and only "camp", then only invest in defense.
Stamina is also a good investment, but at a certain point you've got enough (I have 8, and think this is good for now).

For the rest... I've spend almost all my skill points in building up a strong defense and a better attack.

Good luck with your decision!

How not to get attacked in the beginning

The best way to not get attacked if u already at higher lvl like lvl 4-5, try not to get too much recruits, remove them if u must. If u have max recruits such as 20-25 that fit to ur lvl, u will be shown on the "LIST" for SURE! and that way u will have more chances to be attacked.

Like in Racing Live, I only have 3 friends, even with lvl5, the battle list only shown between 1-4 team size. Not 20 team size. Its a good way to stay away from the list if we try to generate income. (^_^)

Money Doesnt Grow On Trees

By High rollers (8dk6sj)

At first, the price on real estate is cheap, but then it's going to take a while to get another.
You should save up and don't buy any unused equipment. You have to be patience and always put your money in the bank whenever you first get on.
Then let's say that you want to buy an equipment and there's a 100,000 dollar upkeep and you still want the same amount of income. So you already have like 30 hotels and the cost for another one is 30,200,000 but it covers the 100,000 dollar upkeep. So you should buy two shoping which is 50,000 each but it cost only 8,000,000. So my point is to keep your upkeep and income steady.

This worked well when I was level 40 and got to level 68 in a week but to do this energy needs to be in the 11's range (ex 44,55,66,etc).

Best mission to do this is Knock off Rival Mob Member, 11 energy, 15 exp I had 55 energy and got 75 Exp in seconds. This worked great for me it could work great for the ones who try it.

Always bank your money

By TeRmInAtOr (SEGM62)

Always bank your money if you are in build mode. Build mode is when you sell all your equipment with upkeep and build your income to a certain amount.
So let's say your at level 120 and you have accumulated 1 billion $ over night and then some one comes and attacks you...they will take about 6-7 million every time they win against you so if you bank you money at 100 mil everytime, you lose 15% of that so it's gonna be $15 mil you lose...well if you multiply that by 10 (meaning depositing all your cash in intervals of 100 million) you lose about $150,000,000 every time. But make sure to do this if you have a low income and is building income!
