When you have two properties with vary similar p/h (both green or blue), you should ALWAYS buy the lowest priced one because of the time involved to generate the income to buy the second one AND the lost income accured in that time.

Artifacts let you get a lot of things in the game, like a full recharge, more battle ability points, mercenaries, and money. While all those are very tempting when you are starting the game, they are not as useful as the limited edition items you can get that are advertised on the home screen. The fact is that most if not all of those limited edition items are upkeep FREE so you get them and add them to your armory but do not have to pay for them every hour out of your income.

The tip is that artifacts are easier to earn at lower levels so save them up and use them on limited edition items so you can keep your income up instead of it all going towards upkeep.

Keep you level down and build up some money using the bounty list. Keep trying to kill users on the bounty list that are much higher than you, that will bring your XP down and allow you to maintain a certain level 10-12 would be good. You may get lucky on one of those battles and could possibly become rich. After going down try to watch the Bounty List for someone in you range that is worth a lot of cash then hit them just before the timer runs out. It has helped me build up some cash and then use that cash to buy properties.
